Want to have quick access to the applications that you use most in Windows 7? Just follow these directions to pin an application to the Windows taskbar.
1) Open the Application that you want to pin to the Windows taskbar.
2) Right click on the application’s icon on the Windows taskbar.
3) Click “Pin this program to taskbar”
4) The application icon will now stay on the Windows taskbar no matter if it is open or closed.
5) If you want to un-pin an application from the Windows taskbar, right click on the application’s icon on the Windows taskbar.
6) Click “Unpin this program from taskbar”
