To automatically logon to Windows 7 follow the steps below:
1) Click START and type in the following command in the search box:
netplwiz
2) Press ENTER on your keyboard (the netplwiz command will load the Advanced User Accounts)
3) In the USERS tab, UNCHECK the box next to “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.”
4) Click the APPLY button at the bottom of the User Accounts window
5) When the AUTOMATICALLY LOG ON dialog box appears, enter the user name you wish to automatically login to Windows 7 with. Next enter the account password.
6) Click OK
7) Click OK on the User Accounts window to complete the autologin process
That’s it! Now when you start up your PC, Windows 7 will automatically log on to your chosen user account.
